This role is based full time (5 days a week) in our office in Oval.
£60,000 - £66,000 OTE
The Role
We’re looking for an Account Director to help us deliver our next stage of growth. As an Account Director – Client Projects at Goalhanger, you will be the senior client lead, responsible for delivering branded content partnerships and advertising campaigns across our shows and formats. You’ll ensure smooth execution, maintain strong client relationships, and oversee a growing team. Working closely with producers, talent, and the wider commercial team, you will manage the seamless delivery of multi-platform content while identifying opportunities for client retention and account growth.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring long-term satisfaction and successful campaign delivery.
- Oversee the delivery of branded content partnerships and advertising campaigns across audio, video and social, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Work closely with show teams, producers and commercial creatives to manage workflows, production schedules, approvals and campaign requirements.
- Manage client expectations and provide proactive solutions to challenges, ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Partner with the commercial team to identify opportunities for renewals, upsells and account growth.
- Oversee campaign reporting and performance analysis, using insights to inform future campaigns and strengthen client relationships.
- Attend commercial shoots and recordings as the senior client lead, overseeing delivery and managing client relationships on the ground.
- Build, manage and mentor a team of Account Managers, setting clear expectations and supporting their development.
- Help scale the team by identifying hiring needs and developing best practices across account management and campaign delivery.
- Develop and improve processes that streamline project management, client communication and campaign execution.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in account management or client services, ideally delivering branded content partnerships or advertising campaigns within media, content or production.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex campaigns across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills, with the confidence to operate as a senior point of contact.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supporting and developing a high-performing team.
- A solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Experience with campaign analytics, performance tracking and reporting, including impressions, engagement and audience insights.
- Desirable but not essential: an understanding of podcast advertising, ad-serving platforms such as Megaphone and campaign tracking systems.
