Account Director – Healthcare / NHS IT Services
Salary: Up to £75,000 basic + Double OTE
Earning Potential: £150,000+

The Opportunity
We’re working with a leading UK technology and IT services business looking to appoint an experienced Account Director to develop and grow its presence across the NHS and wider healthcare sector.
This is a senior sales position for someone who already understands the healthcare technology landscape, knows how to navigate complex NHS organisations and has a successful track record of selling IT solutions and services into the sector.
You'll have access to a broad technology portfolio, strong vendor relationships and the capability to deliver complex solutions across multiple areas of IT.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and develop strategic relationships across NHS and healthcare accounts
- Identify and win new opportunities across existing and prospective customers
- Build relationships with senior IT, digital, procurement and operational stakeholders
- Sell a broad portfolio of IT services and technology solutions
- Develop account plans and identify opportunities for long-term growth
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial engagement through to close
- Work alongside technical, solution and delivery teams to develop customer propositions
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline against ambitious revenue and margin targets

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience selling into the NHS / healthcare sector is essential. You must also come from an IT Channel background, ideally within:
- IT Reseller / VAR
- Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Cyber Security
- Networking / Infrastructure specialist
- Cloud or wider IT solutions provider

We’re looking for someone who can bring genuine knowledge of the NHS market, established relationships and a strong understanding of how technology is procured and sold within healthcare.
You’ll be commercially driven, comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level and able to demonstrate a strong history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Package
- 💰 Up to £75,000 basic salary
- 🚀 Double OTE – £150,000+ earning potential
This is an excellent opportunity for an established NHS technology salesperson to join a major UK IT services business with the portfolio, capability and support to significantly grow their healthcare presence.
