Account Director – Technology PR & Communications

London | Hybrid Working

Are you an experienced PR professional with a passion for technology and a track record of leading major client accounts?

I'm working exclusively with one of the UK's leading integrated communications consultancies to recruit an Account Director for its growing Technology team. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning agency that partners with some of the world's most innovative technology brands, delivering strategic communications across the UK and international markets.

This role is ideal for an ambitious Account Director or experienced Senior Account Director looking to work on high-profile enterprise technology clients while playing a key role in agency growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of enterprise technology clients, acting as a trusted advisor and leading the delivery of strategic communications programmes that deliver real commercial impact.
  • Working alongside an experienced senior leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to shape client strategy, mentor consultants, contribute to new business, and help influence the future direction of a highly respected technology practice.
  • Leading a portfolio of UK and international enterprise technology accounts.
  • Acting as the senior day-to-day client lead and trusted strategic adviser.
  • Developing integrated PR and communications strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Driving proactive media relations, thought leadership, executive profiling, and content programmes.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through commercial relationship management.
  • Playing a key role in new business pitches, proposals, and tender responses.
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team.
  • Working collaboratively across specialist teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

What We're Looking For

  • Agency-side PR and communications experience.
  • Strong experience working with enterprise technology clients.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and building long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent media relations skills with a strong understanding of today's evolving media landscape.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with experience identifying opportunities to grow client accounts.
  • Strategic thinker with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to new business pitches and winning work.
  • A collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring and developing teams.
  • Highly organised with exceptional project and workload management skills.
