The Role
You’re already in an Account Director role and you are looking for your next opportunity where great client relationships are just the beginning. You want to understand your clients’ businesses, get under the skin of their challenges and spot opportunities where we can make a bigger difference.
You’ll own a portfolio of client relationships, becoming a trusted partner to senior stakeholders while growing our work within their organisations. You’ll work closely with our strategists, creatives and project managers to turn business challenges into work that delivers meaningful change for their people and their performance.
This role isn’t for everyone. We’re a small, growing agency, so you’ll move between senior client conversations, commercial thinking, shaping proposals and getting stuck in with the team. But if you want to play a pivotal role in our growth, build relationships that lead somewhere and help make change work from the people-up, this could be for you.
You Are…
-
A relationship builder
You build the kind of client relationships where people pick up the phone before they’ve written the brief. You’re curious about their business, ask thoughtful questions and become a trusted partner they turn to for advice and perspective.
-
An opportunity spotter
You see the next conversation hiding inside the current project. Whether it’s a new challenge, another team or an idea that could go further, you spot opportunities and turn them into brilliant work without making every conversation feel like a sales meeting.
-
A client champion
You understand what clients really need, not simply what they initially ask for. You know when to listen, when to challenge and when to ask the slightly awkward question that gets everyone closer to the right answer.
-
Commercially switched on
You know that great client relationships and healthy commercial relationships go hand in hand. You’re comfortable with budgets, forecasting, profitability and scope, and always have a clear view of how your accounts are performing and where they could grow.
-
A confident collaborator
You know that the best work comes from bringing the right people together. You work brilliantly with clients, strategists, creatives and project managers, knowing when to lead, when to listen and when to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day could include:
- Owning and growing a portfolio of client accounts, building trusted relationships at senior and decision-maker level.
- Identifying and converting opportunities to expand our work within existing clients — through new challenges, new teams and repeat business.
- Getting underneath client challenges and working with strategists, creatives and project managers to shape the right solution.
- Making sure our work stays focused on the client’s real business objective, not simply the list of deliverables in a project plan.
- Leading senior client conversations, presentations, reviews and working sessions.
- Writing and shaping proposals for new opportunities within your accounts.
- Managing account commercials, including forecasting, profitability, scope and overall account health.
- Working in partnership with Senior Project Managers to create a seamless client experience from opportunity through to delivery.
- Representing the client’s perspective internally while protecting TCC’s interests and the quality of our work.
- Contributing to wider new business opportunities and pitches when relevant.
- Helping us continually improve how we build, grow and manage client relationships as the agency develops.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We Are
We design change that works and sticks.
We're a small, ambitious team helping organisations turn strategy and transformation into change people can understand, get behind and actually do.
We work from the people-up, combining strategy, creativity and an understanding of human behaviour to tackle complex business challenges and create better experiences at work. That might mean activating a new strategy, changing behaviours, developing leaders, shifting culture or creating a movement inside an organisation that people genuinely want to be part of.
Our work happens inside organisations rather than on billboards, but its impact can reach thousands of people. We work with big brands you'll know, and some brilliant businesses you might not, helping them make meaningful change happen.
We're growing, which means joining us now isn’t simply about filling a role. You'll get close to the business, have a voice in how we develop, and help shape what The Culture Club becomes next.

Remote-first working and home office set-up
You’ll receive a company Apple laptop, an optional work iPhone, a desktop display screen and accessories to set up your home office. We’re based all over the UK, so being comfortable in your work environment at home is essential to us. We also have an office in Bristol and regularly use co-working spaces if we’re based elsewhere.
-
Quarterly team get-togethers
Working remotely means we’re always looking to create moments to connect as a team in person. Every quarter, we get together to discuss the business and our personal experiences. Typically, these are in London, Bristol, Manchester or Birmingham, but occasionally somewhere slightly more adventurous.
-
£1,500 development fund
Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, but you’ll also have £1,500 each year to invest in your continued learning and development. That might be an external course, coaching, an event or something else that helps you develop your skills and grow.
-
Unlimited holiday
Yes, we’ve seen all the chatter around this perk. But this isn’t a way of allowing anyone to take less holiday. We hold each other accountable for rest and recovery, with everyone expected to take at least 20 days plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown. Every day on top of that is up to you. We trust each other to manage our responsibilities and work in a way that allows us to live our lives and keep our energy in the green.
-

After six months, you’ll get access to health checks and lots more, including video GP appointments and mental health support. You can easily add family members to your plan for even more peace of mind, although fees apply.

-
Company credit card
We don’t have any complicated expenses processes or sign-offs. We’re all adults. Just keep those receipts!
-
And a few other things
Birthday off, Cycle to Work scheme, annual bonus if we do well, performance reviews, Christmas shutdown, summer and Christmas parties — plus all the usual legal stuff, including a company pension.
