Account Director - Events Industry - French Speaking

£60-70,000 per annum + performance related bonus. Remote-first working with equipment and broadband and training & development allowances, private healthcare.

What you’ll do

  • Account Management & Client Retention: Own and expand key accounts, being the first contact for enterprise accounts (IR, Communications, PE/VC partners), uncovering opportunities to up/cross sell to deliver greater value.
  • New Business Pipeline Ownership: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from qualification of high-value inbound leads to pitching, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Presence: Be on site and face to face with clients to increase engagement at all stages. Attend key industry events. Drive marketing initiatives that build brand presence.
  • Networking: Nurture relationships with strategic partners, including PR agencies, legal and financial services firms.
  • Project leadership and commercial delivery: Track progress, budgets and post-event feedback

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: Sustained, proven experience in business development, account management, or commercial leadership within financial events, corporate communications, private equity/VC ecosystems.
  • Expertise: Deep familiarity with the financial services ecosystem—particularly Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investor Relations, and Asset Management.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to qualify prospects, draft winning proposals, manage multi-tier accounts, and consistently deliver profitability.
  • Leadership: Clear ambition to assume full ownership of global revenue growth, account management and team management.
  • Languages: Native/Professional fluency in English is a must; French language proficiency is strongly preferred
