You will be joining commercial team representing Bauer Media Audio UK's market-leading digital audio product audioXi. We know we’re only as good as the sum of all parts and on that note, we’re a supportive bunch so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to learn from those around you.

The Difference you will make

As the Account Director you will be guiding key media agency partners across an assigned territory to invest in our market-leading digital audio product; audioXi and effectively sell Digital Audio as a medium. Your primary goal is to drive revenue by selling in the relevant product in the fast-paced digital audio market.

Your role:

Our advertising clients are absolutely central to everything we do. As an Account Director, you’ll be working hard to attract and win new clients and develop our existing client portfolio. Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to audioXi’s aim of upselling digital customers to our proposition from broadcast to IP audio.
  • Manage day to day sales process through from briefing to delivery.
  • Proactively Sell the benefits of audio to grow share from other media channels.
  • Drive Revenue by following the “Customer Strategies” to make strategic interventions and drive growth in the agency spends.
  • Creating and delivering commercial output that drives take up from advertisers.
  • Closely align with wider respective agency hub teams to ensure audioXi is included on all 360 Bauer partnership responses.
  • Manage day to day sales process through from briefing to delivery.
  • Collaborate with the podcast counterparts within audioXi and the wider Bauer agency facing teams.
  • Input into the weekly audioXi team meetings, demonstrating ability to present clear forecasting, client meeting quotas and intel into market knowledge and trends.

The Skills you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with in a sales environment.
  • Proven track record in achieving both personal and team revenue targets.
  • Experience developing new business and creating new relationships.
  • Analytical capability with an interest in researching data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in technological systems and programs.

Working Pattern/Location:

This is a hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London (5 minutes walk from Euston Station). This will be an average of 2-3 days a week in the office.
