Trafalgar Strategy Account Director Opportunity
Trafalgar Strategy has an exciting opportunity for an Account Director with specialist experience in litigation public relations to join our fast-growing team.
Applicants without specialist or relevant experience will not be considered.
We are a strategic communications consultancy that advises on legal disputes, reputation management, campaigns, public affairs, and complex communications challenges. We draw on experience from the highest levels of government in the UK and internationally. In recent years, we have delivered award-winning campaigns and dealt with some of the biggest issues that have led TV news bulletins and dominated newspaper front pages.

Essential skills include media relations expertise and deep knowledge of the UK legal scene.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Proven specialist experience in Litigation PR at a senior level, advising clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional claims and working alongside legal advisors and other stakeholders
- Proven experience developing and delivering crisis communications responses to live client issues, including under time pressure
- Experience assessing client crisis readiness, identifying gaps in client crisis plans and processes, and recommending practical improvements
- Familiarity with designing and delivering crisis training and simulation exercises
- Lead on identifying and delivering tactical media and stakeholder engagement opportunities for clients across a range of channels
- Editorial responsibility for Trafalgar’s marketing activities including LinkedIn and website
- Line manage and mentor junior member staff, providing guidance and feedback while building the talent pipeline

Essential Skills
- Ability to identify media and engagement opportunities, develop and deliver communications plans, and create high-quality client materials, including press releases, briefings, and social media content
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Politically minded with a keen interest in current affairs
- A strong professional network and a demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate client and new business relationships across media, politics, and law
