Major Players and Brand Experience Agency Hiring Account Director
Major Players is partnering with an award-winning brand experience agency to hire an Account Director. Headquartered in London and operating worldwide, they work with some of the world's most exciting global brands to create culture-led experiences that resonate with youth audiences and drive real results.
The Account Director Role
The Account Director is the most important role in the business. You set the pace, direction, and standard for everything around you, leading your team, your clients, and your accounts with authority, creativity, and commercial conviction.
This isn't just a client management role. You'll be a cultural leader, a strategic thinker, a creative champion, and a commercial driver all at once. You'll create the conditions for brilliant work to happen, own the profitability of your accounts, and be the person clients turn to when it matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the tone for your team, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity flourishes. Nurture the development of those around you, handling difficult conversations with calm and integrity.
- Own the seamless day-to-day management of all accounts, consistently exceeding KPIs and client expectations. Be the go-to for your clients — always steps ahead, anticipating needs and delivering winning proposals.
- Oversee all strategic output across your accounts, bringing a confident, well-informed point of view and presenting compelling arguments to clients with clarity and conviction.
- Stay genuinely curious about the industry, bringing strong creative judgement to every project and creating the conditions for best-in-class work to happen.
- Take full ownership of account financials — fees, cost estimates, resource tracking, and profitability across GP% and NP% — while proactively identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire your account team, driving their progression and holding them to the highest standards of delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
