Role Description
The Account Director (maternity leave cover) is a temporary, on-site role based in London, responsible for leading key client relationships and overseeing integrated campaigns from brief to delivery. Day-to-day, the Account Director will act as the primary client contact, translate business objectives into strategic plans, and coordinate internal teams across creative, design, PR, social, and activation. This role will manage project timelines, budgets, and resourcing, ensuring work is delivered on time, on brand, and to a high standard. The Account Director will mentor and guide account team members, support new business opportunities, and help maintain a collaborative, solutions-focused environment.

Qualifications

- Strong account management experience, including ownership of client relationships and delivery of integrated campaigns.
- Proven team management and team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop account teams.
- Experience in sales or business development, including growing existing accounts and contributing to new business pitches.
- Solid project management capabilities, including managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional workflows.
- Background in creative, marketing, PR, social, or agency environments, ideally with experience in culturally led or earned-first work.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in London and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Experience being the account lead on global sports and lifestyle brands.
- Minimum 8+ years industry experience.
