Role: Account Director - NHS

Location: UK Wide

Salary: £90k–£110k base + £180k–£220k OTE

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Account Executive to join one of our most exciting clients, focused on delivering managed infrastructure, storage, cyber security, and networking solutions into the NHS and wider UK public sector.

This is a strategic enterprise sales role, with a particular focus on NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), NHS organisations, and other public sector bodies. You’ll be responsible for developing new opportunities, navigating complex procurement processes, and building long-term relationships with senior technology and procurement stakeholders.

The role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure sales professional who understands the NHS environment and can lead large, complex, and transformational technology deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive New Business: Identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities across NHS Trusts, ICSs, and wider public sector organisations.
  • Own Your Territory: Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, identifying target NHS organisations, key stakeholders, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Build Senior Relationships: Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, Heads of Infrastructure, CISOs, Procurement, and other senior NHS stakeholders.
  • Lead Complex Sales Cycles: Manage large, multi-stakeholder sales processes from initial engagement through to negotiation, procurement, and close.
  • Position Transformation: Demonstrate how managed infrastructure, storage, backup, cyber security, and networking solutions can support NHS organisations with resilience, security, cost optimisation, and digital transformation.
  • Navigate NHS Procurement: Work effectively within NHS procurement frameworks, tenders, and complex public sector buying processes.
  • Land & Expand: Win new NHS accounts and develop them into long-term strategic customers through cross-sell, upsell, and expansion opportunities.
  • Market Development: Stay close to NHS technology priorities, infrastructure challenges, and evolving cyber security requirements to identify new commercial opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
