Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Sales Director who can be part of a team establishing and accelerating market penetration and revenue growth in strategic net new addressable markets, specifically Technology, Media, & Entertainment (TME) and Retail. This role requires a proven track record in strategic sales, market entry planning, and closing high-value, complex Data and AI solutions.

You will own the entire sales motion within designated new markets, from defining the segmentation strategy and building the pipeline to leading deal execution and managing high-level C-suite relationships. Success in this role is defined by securing substantial net new logos and establishing a recurring revenue stream by leveraging the full Google Cloud and AI portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth Ownership
  • Strategic Market Entry
  • Executive Relationship Building
  • Complex Deal Management: Lead and orchestrate the entire sales cycle for high-value, complex Data and AI engagements
  • Advanced Solution Selling: Drive sales of the most advanced Data and AI services, including GenAI for customer engagement, predictive analytics, and large-scale data transformation built on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Vertex AI).
  • Strategic Partnership Management: Direct and enhance strategic sales collaboration with key Google Cloud and Google Marketing Platform sales leadership to identify, qualify, and co-sell into net new, high-potential accounts.
  • Sales Enablement & Thought Leadership

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years proven track record in senior Sales within a marketing & cloud technology, cloud data, or AI consultancy, with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar net new revenue targets.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven capability in structuring and closing highly complex deals.
  • Deep Market Penetration Experience: Proven success in defining and executing market entry strategies, securing new logos, and building a recurring revenue stream within new business sectors, with specific expertise in TME and/or Retail.
  • AI/Data Solution Sales: Extensive experience selling high-value, transformative AI and predictive analytics solutions that address C-level marketing, customer, and operational challenges.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of leading executive-level workshops and serving as a trusted commercial and strategic advisor to the C-suite.
