Job Description:
Dentsu is an integrated growth and transformation partner to some of the world’s leading organisations. Founded in Tokyo in 1901, dentsu now operates in approximately 120 countries, bringing together media, creative, customer experience, data, and technology to help clients unlock growth and navigate change.
About Carat
Carat, the world’s first media agency and part of dentsu, partners with ambitious global brands to build modern businesses through people-led media. Combining empathy, strategy, technology, and integrated media expertise, Carat delivers planning, investment, and experience design that drives performance and transformation.
Client Overview
Heineken is one of dentsu’s most exciting global clients: an iconic business accelerating a global marketing transformation across its International Brands portfolio, including Amstel, Desperados, Birra Moretti, and Tiger. This is a rare opportunity to shape brand-building at scale, balancing global ambition with local relevance.
THE ROLE
As Global Account Director you will play a supporting role across dentsu’s bespoke service model for our client. Partnering closely with the Global Client Lead and wider account team, you will help shape, embed, and accelerate our client’s global marketing transformation across its International Brands portfolio.
We are looking for a senior media leader with proven experience across global through-the-line planning, complex stakeholder management, and multi-market delivery. The right person will combine strategic clarity with resilience, maturity, diplomacy, and the ability to build trusted relationships across Heineken, dentsu, and partner agency teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
