Account Director – Cyber Security Sales
Location: Fully Remote – UK
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Double OTE
We are looking for a commercially driven Account Director with a strong new-business mentality to join a growing cyber security organisation.
This is a hunter-focused sales role, responsible for identifying, developing and winning new mid-market and enterprise customers across the UK.
You will be selling a broad portfolio of cyber security services, including Managed Security / SOC, Penetration Testing, Security Consulting, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management and broader Cyber Security solutions.
The successful candidate will be comfortable opening doors at senior levels, building relationships with C-suite and security decision-makers, and managing complex sales cycles through to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new mid-market and enterprise accounts across the UK
- Generate your own pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals and targeted account development
- Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Security Directors and senior decision-makers
- Sell a range of cyber security services including SOC/MDR, penetration testing, consultancy, security assessments and managed security solutions
- Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to negotiation and close
- Develop strategic account plans focused on new-logo acquisition and revenue growth
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions for customers
- Lead complex, consultative sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts once established
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity

We are looking for someone who is genuinely new-business focused and enjoys hunting for opportunities rather than simply managing an existing book of accounts.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience selling cyber security services or solutions
- A strong track record of winning new business
- Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise organisations
- Understanding of areas such as SOC/MDR, penetration testing, security consulting, vulnerability management, cloud security or managed security
- Experience selling to senior technology and security stakeholders
- Strong prospecting and business development skills
- The ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles
- Commercial confidence and strong negotiation skills
- A self-starting approach with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
