Account Director - Independent Creative Agency
Location: Shoreditch, London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
The Company
A lean, senior-led independent creative agency doing genuinely ambitious work for brands that want to make their mark.
Twelve people. No layers. No handoffs. The team that pitches is the team that delivers - which means clients get senior thinking from day one and all the way through. It's a model that's won them work alongside, and against, some of the most respected names in the industry.
They're brand agnostic by design - taking insight and creative thinking across categories rather than staying in a lane - and they work as a genuine extension of their clients' teams, not a supplier at arm's length.
The culture is one people talk about. Strong work-life balance, an efficient way of working and a team that gets a lot of great work out without burning people out in the process.
For the right person, the opportunity to grow here - both the accounts and their own career - is very real and completely uncapped.
The Role
This is an Account Director role for someone who wants to own and grow a portfolio of clients - not just manage and deliver it.
You'll sit at the centre of the agency, connecting clients and the creative team, shaping direction and ensuring the work is smart, well-crafted and effective. Reporting into senior leadership, you'll be hands-on across everything from briefs and strategy through to campaign delivery and client relationships.
But the thing that will make the difference here is growth mindset. The agency's current portfolio has real potential and they need someone who sees that, wants to build on it and knows how to make it happen - building relationships, deepening client knowledge, spotting opportunities and going after them. If your instinct is to deliver what's asked and wait for the next brief, this probably isn't the role for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
