Account Director (Shopper & Experiential – Grocery / Beauty), Maidenhead / Hybrid – Up to £70K

We're looking for an experienced Account Director to join a leading brand experience agency, delivering large-scale shopper activation, in-store experiential, sampling and live brand experience campaigns across grocery, FMCG and health & beauty.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused Account Director role for someone who understands what it takes to turn a creative idea into a successful live activation. You'll lead key client relationships while working closely with production, staffing, field teams, logistics and creative to ensure campaigns are operationally robust and brilliantly executed.
Crucially, you'll already have strong experience delivering campaigns for grocery/FMCG and/or health & beauty brands, with a good understanding of the retail and shopper environment.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of shopper activation, in-store experiential, sampling and live brand experience campaigns.
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients, becoming their go-to partner across campaign delivery.
- Translate client briefs and creative concepts into robust operational delivery plans.
- Work closely with production, staffing, field teams, suppliers, logistics and creative to bring campaigns to life.
- Oversee live activations, ensuring campaigns are delivered on brief, on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.
- Manage campaign budgets, commercials, forecasting and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and develop additional projects.
- Lead client presentations, proposals, status meetings and post-campaign reviews.
- Mentor and support Campaign Managers across the team.
- Successfully manage multiple fast-moving campaigns without compromising quality.

We're looking for someone who has
- Strong agency experience delivering shopper activation, experiential or in-store brand experience campaigns.
- Proven experience working with grocery/FMCG and/or health & beauty brands.
- Genuine hands-on experience delivering live activations within retail and shopper environments.
- Experience across sampling, in-store activation, product launches, POS, retail experiences and consumer-facing experiential campaigns.
- A proven track record managing campaigns involving production, staffing, field delivery, suppliers and logistics.
- The ability to take campaigns from client brief and planning through to physical execution in the retail environment.
- Excellent client relationship and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing campaign budgets and profitability.
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills.
- The confidence to lead clients and internal delivery teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to campaign locations when required.
