Account Director (Shopper) | £50k-55k | London/Hybrid

I'm partnering with an award-winning independent creative agency looking for an Account Director to join its Consumer Brands team. This role could suit a SAM looking to step up!

You'll lead a portfolio of Health & Beauty and Publishing accounts, owning senior client relationships, commercial performance, and the delivery of brilliant work.

The role spans the full shopper journey, from POS and shopper toolkits to promotions, trade marketing, experiential, and partnerships. You'll need to be commercially sharp, confident with clients, and comfortable getting into the detail to make sure work is delivered brilliantly through to store.

The Role

  • Ownership: You'll take ownership of a portfolio of key client accounts.
  • Relationships: Building strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Budgets: Taking ownership of account budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Opportunities: Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase share of wallet.
  • Oversight: Overseeing briefs from client through to creative development and final delivery.
  • Project Management: Managing multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines to keep campaigns on track.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with creative and delivery teams to ensure work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to brief.
  • Production Knowledge: Bringing strong print production knowledge, confidently managing artwork, proofing, and approval processes.
  • Presentations: Presenting strategic recommendations, campaign results, and wash-ups to senior clients.
  • Mentorship: Supporting and mentoring junior members of the account team, providing guidance and on-the-job development.
  • Market Awareness: Keeping close to market trends, retailer requirements, and opportunities across the consumer brands space.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
