Role overview
We are looking for an experienced client services professional, currently at Account Director level, to join our London team. Reporting to the Head of B2B, you will lead a portfolio of B2B clients, including organisations across sustainable chemicals, plastics, and food services.
You'll be responsible for building trusted senior client relationships, driving account growth, providing strategic counsel, and leading the successful delivery of integrated marketing programmes across social media, content marketing and wider digital channels.
Alongside managing the client relationship, you will own the commercial management of the account: forecasting, scoping, estimating, and invoicing.
This is a hybrid role, with at least two days per week based in our London office and the remainder spent working remotely within the UK.
As an Account Director - Social & Content (B2B) at Cubaka, you will:
- Lead client relationships across a portfolio of B2B accounts, including a US-based client, building trusted relationships with stakeholders up to Director and VP level.
- Lead delivery of integrated social, content, influencer, website, and digital programmes from briefing through evaluation.
- Contribute informed B2B marketing insight to client discussions and planning sessions.
- Drive growth across the client portfolio by identifying opportunities to expand services, increase revenue, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Lead content strategy across client accounts, aligning activity with business goals and ensuring social and web channels operate as a connected ecosystem.
- Oversee resource planning across strategy and delivery teams, leading briefing processes and maintaining efficient workflows.
- Improve operational processes, systems, and ways of working by identifying gaps and implementing enhancements.
- Manage account finances, including forecasting, scoping new work, preparing estimates, and supporting invoicing activity.
- Facilitate early-stage content planning, connecting client objectives with strategy and delivery teams before overseeing implementation.
- Line manage and support the development of an Account Manager through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
