About the Job
The Opportunity
We're looking for an Account Director to lead on our new and existing client relationships - becoming the strategic and commercial connector between our clients and the work we produce for them.
This role is about client partnership: building trusted, senior relationships across a range of high-growth start-ups, established UK/US brands and large multi-national organisations, and turning those relationships into long-term growth for both sides.
You'll work alongside our Project Director, who owns delivery and operations - you bring the client vision and commercial strategy, they bring the operational excellence. Together you ensure clients feel expertly looked after and that the work reflects their ambitions. You will report to the MD.
Your main responsibilities include:
Client Partnership & Growth
- Own a portfolio of key client relationships as their most trusted advisor.
- Lead quarterly planning and senior stakeholder meetings, setting the strategic agenda.
- Proactively identify and pitch opportunities for organic growth and new services.
- Own renewals, scoping and commercial conversations end to end.
- Bring social/content expertise to every conversation, shaping how clients think about their strategy.
- Owning budget control, reconciling, optimising and reporting on project finances.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
