BrandBastion transforms the way brands handle social engagement, working with some of the most recognized names in the world - Netflix, Uber, Sephora, Benefit Cosmetics, JD Sports and more. We help our partners get the most out of their social media engagement, across paid, organic, and non-owned conversations. Our proprietary technology automates the management of millions of social interactions every day, while maintaining the personal quality of one-on-one conversations grounded in context, brand knowledge, and TOV.
The Role
BrandBastion is looking for a strategic and commercially minded Account Director who deeply understands social media and can help leading consumer brands turn their social conversations into measurable business impact.
- You will act as a senior strategic partner to social, marketing, and customer care leaders, helping them connect BrandBastion's platform and services to their wider business priorities.
- You will own a portfolio of strategic accounts, including the customer strategy, senior relationships, value realization, retention, and growth.
- You will be supported by our product, technical, and operational teams on platform configuration, onboarding, and workflow optimization, but you yourself should be very interested in understanding the platform and how it works.

What you'll own
- Build trusted relationships with senior social, marketing, and customer care leaders.
- Lead strategic conversations across paid and organic social, community, moderation, engagement, sentiment, customer care, and brand health.
- Understand each customer's priorities and develop a clear account strategy.
- Translate BrandBastion's work into measurable impact and business value.
- Lead executive business reviews with insights and recommendations.
- Identify account risks and take action well ahead of renewal.
- Own retention, renewals, and expansion across your portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional BrandBastion solutions.
- Partner with product and technical specialists to improve customer adoption and workflows.
- Bring relevant social trends, industry knowledge, and strategic ideas to customers.
Requirements
- Experience as an Account Manager, Account Director, Client Partner, Social Strategist, Social Media Lead, or senior customer leader.
- Experience working with large consumer brands through an agency, social technology company, or in-house team.
- The credibility to lead a useful strategic conversation with a Global Head of Social or VP of Marketing.
- Strong knowledge of social strategy, community, engagement, moderation, customer care, and campaign performance.
- A commercial mindset and experience with retention, renewals, growth, or account expansion.
- Strong ownership, organization, and follow-through.
- The ability to translate data and customer goals into clear recommendations.
- Comfort learning technology and partnering with technical specialists.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to managing and growing accounts.
