LONDON, UK

Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week. We operate a Fix + Flex model, with Wednesdays and Thursdays as our two Fix Days, when everyone is in the office, and the third day is Flex for you - either Monday, Tuesday, or Friday.

A benchmarked salary between £53,000 to £58,000 based on your level within our progression framework.

WHO WE ARE

We are Born Social, a social-first creative agency that brings brand building into the social era. We have a track record of delivering transformation for iconic brands like Guinness, Ford, and Barclays, led by our team of social natives and brand experts, underpinned by technology.

Backed by the strength of a brilliant business that's proudly B-Corp certified, we're consistently recognised as one of the best places to work.

We’re looking for an Account Director who's a Spanish native to lead the local market social strategy and client relationship for Ford in Spain.

You'll work with our Spanish clients (in local language) to deliver our social strategy in their market, leading a small team of freelancers on the ground in Madrid to build community, ideate & create content all of which is routed in Spanish market knowledge and insights. All whilst collaborating with the wider Ford Europe account team to identify opportunities and communicate the value of Born Social's work to your local market clients.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Account leadership: Ensuring output for your market is in line with the overall social strategy and working with teams to execute against that strategy. Setting up teams effectively to support your pursuit of a higher standard of work. Inspiring your account teams to produce Born Social’s best work in all areas of delivery.
  • Relationship development: As the main point of contact for your clients you will be responsible for fostering collaborative, trusting and constructive relationships that allow you to effectively identify and communicate the value of Born Social's work to Ford.
  • Project management: Organising key calls, meetings (team & independent) and Quarterly Reviews. Recognising and resolving delivery or client issues or lack of results. Working alongside wider team members to review ways of working to ensure delivery feels positive for both clients and teams.
  • Overseeing delivery: You'll work with a group of local market freelancers in Spain to deliver social-first work that meets our strategy - supporting with briefing, quality control & overseeing delivery.
  • Local market visits: To build strong relationships and deliver our best work, we'll organise regular (likely monthly) visits to Madrid to spend time with your clients and our freelance network.
  • Commercial management: Ensuring accurate delivery of scope of work (deliverables and time) using time tracking, ensuring deliverables are of high quality and all deadlines are met. Recognising and resolving any scope or resourcing issues and leading on new resourcing requests as well as reporting on commercial performance monthly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
