Role Overview

As an Account Director within our Wholesale Mobile team, you'll play a key role in driving mobile and IoT sales growth across our Partner network. You'll be responsible for developing existing relationships, winning new business, uncovering opportunities, and helping our Partners maximise the potential of our mobile portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building trusted relationships, creating growth strategies, and delivering results in a fast-paced, competitive market.

Please note: This is a field-based role, and candidates should be based within the Midlands, with regular travel required across their assigned account base.

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
  • Developing strategic account plans that drive long-term Partner growth.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and expand mobile services.
  • Working with prospective resellers to win new business and increase market share.
  • Supporting Partners through training, coaching and commercial guidance to maximise performance.
  • Driving adoption of the Cloud Market platform and wider Giacom solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Gathering market intelligence and sharing insights on competitors, pricing trends and customer demands.
  • Collaborating with Product, Marketing and Operational teams to deliver an exceptional Partner experience.
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data and CRM records.

Your Experience

  • A proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets within the mobile telecoms sector.
  • Experience selling through indirect channels and reseller networks.
  • Knowledge of wholesale mobile markets and Partner-led sales models.
  • Strong understanding of IoT and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and developing strategic accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility quickly.
  • A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.
  • Knowledge of Cloud and Unified Communications (UC) solutions.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
