Account Director

📍 London | Hybrid
💷 Up to £55,000 DOE
💼 12 month Maternity Cover | Jan Start | Media Agency

Looking for your next move where you can take ownership of major client accounts, lead campaigns and play a key role in growing existing business?

We’re working with an established marketing agency supporting a range of high-profile brands and organisations across the entertainment, events and consumer space.

This is an opportunity for an experienced account leader who can confidently manage senior client relationships, oversee integrated campaigns and identify opportunities to develop existing accounts. You’ll work closely with specialist teams across media, creative, insights and production to deliver strong work and measurable results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of key client accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Lead the development and delivery of multi-channel campaigns
  • Turn client objectives into clear marketing strategies and plans
  • Coordinate multiple projects, teams and external partners
  • Oversee paid media and wider marketing activity
  • Monitor campaign performance and communicate insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase client investment
  • Support and lead pitches, proposals and new business opportunities
  • Work closely with internal specialists to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Manage timelines, priorities and client expectations
  • Ensure campaigns deliver against agreed objectives and KPIs
  • Mentor and support junior members of the account team

About you:

  • 6+ years' experience within a marketing/media agency or relevant client-side environment
  • Strong account management and client relationship experience
  • Proven experience retaining and growing client accounts
  • Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Good understanding of paid media and offline media
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of account profitability
  • Experience contributing to pitches and new business
  • Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience within entertainment, events, consumer marketing or brand experience would be advantageous
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is a plus
