Account Director
Position Overview
As an Account Director, you will drive strategic growth by introducing, developing, and expanding key customer relationships across numerous sectors. You will lead complex sales opportunities, position Advania's solutions, and deliver long-term revenue growth through strategic account development.

Responsibilities
- Lead the acquisition, development, and growth of strategic customer accounts across commercial and enterprise markets.
- Develop executive-level relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Create and execute strategic account plans focused on long-term customer growth, retention, and profitability.
- Identify, qualify, and secure significant new business opportunities while expanding Advania's footprint within existing strategic accounts.
- Lead complex sales engagements from prospecting and qualification through to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Position and present Advania's full portfolio of solutions, including data centre, network, cyber, end-user compute, and modern workspace.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, pre-sales, solution specialists, procurement, and service delivery teams to design high-value customer solutions.
- Maintain ownership of forecasting, sales performance, pipeline management, and strategic account reporting.
- Act as a market ambassador for Advania, maintaining awareness of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Consistently exceed monthly gross profit and strategic growth objectives.

What Success Looks Like
- Building an active and qualified sales pipeline.
- Generating new customer opportunities and meeting.
- Developing a clear understanding of Advania’s VAR offerings.
- Attend Advania Offices or customer sites 3 days a week.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, specialists, and operations.
- Manage customer requirements efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant and proven success in strategic B2B IT sales within a VAR, MSP, or a systems integrator.
- Demonstrated experience winning and developing large enterprise and mid-market customers through complex sales engagements.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK is essential to support executive customer relationships, strategic sales opportunities, partner engagement, and wider business growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Advania’s data centre, network, cyber security, modern workplace, end-user compute, audio-visual offerings.
- Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead large, strategic opportunities and navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing account strategies that deliver long-term growth and profitability.
- Track record of consistently exceeding ambitious revenue and gross profit targets.
- Experience using CRM tools to manage pipelines, forecasting, and sales performance reporting.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify emerging market opportunities and position Advania as a trusted transformation partner.
