The role: A senior pair of hands on EU focused campaigns
Do you understand the European political landscape? Are you able to understand policy but also land a media story that can influence it? We are looking for someone with experience influencing or taking part in policy processes within the EU or an EU Member State.
Our EU team works on campaigns and projects that influence EU policy or European citizens more widely. We combine traditional public affairs with great communications tactics such as national and international press and digital activity to build strong campaigns that influence policymakers both directly and indirectly. And we guide our clients in how to speak to different political stakeholders as well as how to communicate complicated policy issues to the general public.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As an account director within this team, you will be expected to lead on a range of projects at once while acting as senior counsel to our partners alongside our Head of EU Affairs and EU Senior Advisor.
From executing strategy workshops and managing many stakeholders to arranging behind-closed-door briefings with policymakers to developing media stories that win hearts and minds in e.g. French, Spanish or German media, you will run policy campaigns from start to finish supported by the most brilliant team members.
This role spans direct advocacy and policy work as well as PR, but we encourage applications from candidates whose strengths lie more in one or the other. We have both skills within our team and will complement the AD with relevant team members, while training you on what you don’t know.

- Keep track of KPIs, budgets, timelines and team capacity for all projects.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior officials at the European Commission, European Parliament permanent representations, and potentially Member States.
- Develop and pitch compelling media stories both in the Brussels media but also national media. This includes working with our network of PR freelancers in various EU countries.

- Oversee and train more junior members of staff.
- Growing your own accounts and helping pitch for new projects.
