Description:

Join us at Sternberg Clarke, the market leader in live entertainment for the corporate and private event market. We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Executive to be part of our small, laid-back company.

You will be working closely in a team of three, creating proposals in response to client entertainment briefs. Converting enquiries into bookings as well as managing all queries and logistics relating to the bookings.

This role offers an interesting and varied opportunity:

  • For someone with either a couple of years’ experience or someone looking for their first job in the entertainment and events industry.

Proven success will lead to the opportunity to progress to Account Manager.

Your role will include:

  • Liaising with clients via email/phone
  • Writing creative, bespoke proposals to fit clients’ brief
  • Following up on proposals to convert into bookings
  • Working with our CRM system to create contracts for clients and artists
  • Liaising with our artists to ensure they have all necessary logistical information
  • Proactively building and nurturing client relationships to gain repeat business
  • Attending site visits as and when required
  • Attending events, usually no more than one evening a week
  • Researching and discovering new, interesting acts to add to our roster

What you bring:

  • Experience: Not necessary but passion for entertainment/events is a bonus
  • Drive: A strong motivation to achieve set objectives.
  • Presentation: Well-presented to meet clients
  • Initiative: Ability to act independently and enjoy working in a proactive events role.
  • Organisation: Methodical and highly organised with a systematic approach to work, ability to prioritise tasks and manage time productively
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Professionalism: A friendly and professional approach, anticipating client needs to create memorable experiences.
  • Academic: No formal qualifications necessary but first-rate literacy and numeracy skills
