Account Executive - London - Hybrid

The company

We're hiring 2 Account Executives to join a fast-growing start-up raising its Series A. This is a great opportunity to join a business that has found PMF and is currently growing 4-5x every year. They have plans to go from less than 40 to 100+ people in the next 12 months, half of whom will be in sales.

They operate in one of the largest ‘niche’ markets and are looking for AE’s who are ready to hit the ground running and start closing deals from day 01. The way your role will be structured is that you will sit one level above a team of SDR’s booking meetings for you. You should also have a history of cold calling. All of the AEs are expected to generate pipeline themselves.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You should feel confident selling in a complex environment.

What you'll do

  • Hitting your quota, we expect our AE’s to close a minimum number of deals per month.
  • Manage SDR’s working in your pod - train them, coach them and take responsibility for the pod’s overall output.
  • Comfortable running over 20 - 25 customer calls per week, structuring these around sales methodologies, ensuring everyone has been followed up with on the day.
  • Work with the rev ops team to optimise data pipeline, cleanliness, TAM mapping and hygiene. (Experience doing this yourself is a big plus).
  • Report your weekly/monthly/quarterly performance metrics.
  • Follows a proven sales methodology and can coach it out to people.
