As part of the team, you’ll:

  • Work closely with colleagues across the business, including our Account Managers, Marketing Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Play an important role within the Accounts team, supporting the team to maximise sales with current and prospective retailers.
  • Have the opportunity to work with a portfolio of exciting, design-led brands within the children’s and lifestyle categories.

Introducing the role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate person to join our Accounts team and help us manage relationships with more than 500 retailers across the toy, gift and lifestyle categories. You'll play an important role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with our existing B2B customers, while providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider Accounts team. With a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience, you'll help us identify opportunities to maximise sales and support the continued growth of our retail partnerships. Let's get into the detail:

The position will include, but is not limited to the following areas:

Delivering an outstanding customer journey

  • Make regular calls to new and existing retailers, ensuring they’re kept up to date with relevant brand and business information.
  • Maintain accurate account records and activity logs through HubSpot, helping to identify key sales opportunities and nurture retailer relationships.
  • Build and maintain warm, helpful relationships with our retailers that reflect our company values.
  • Liaise with our Customer Service and Warehouse teams where needed to help resolve any account queries or challenges.

Supporting the Accounts Team

  • Support Account Managers with market research to help identify and approach prospective new retailers.
  • Assist with briefing marketing communications, B2B updates and relevant brand information to help maximise sales opportunities.
  • Support Account Managers in collating information for brand analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain retailer brand dashboards and ensure information is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Help with administrative tasks relating to our brands' new and existing product ranges.
  • Collate regular product feedback from retailers, including feedback on new collections and line extensions.
  • Support Account Managers with maintaining and developing brand delivery schedules.
  • Take on other responsibilities appropriate to the level of the role as the business continues to grow and evolve.

Skills & Knowledge

  • A demonstrable interest in interior design and/or fashion trends.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with a variety of people.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM system.
  • A confident and positive outlook — we aren't looking for perfection, just someone who is willing to learn, get stuck in and grow with us.

The Important Bits

  • Location: Unit E2 High Flatworth, North Shields NE29 7UZ
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Reporting to: Senior Account Manager
