Our client is an established international engineering and fabrication business delivering complex, high-specification projects across sectors including petrochemical, energy, industrial and modular construction. The company combines UK-based operations with a strong presence in the Middle East, supporting clients with specialist technical solutions.

Due to ongoing expansion of the UK entity an Accounts Executive is required to support the financial and accounting activities of the business and its operations. The successful candidate does not need to be fully qualified, although individuals working towards an accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA would be particularly welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare regular management and financial reports accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare financial information, reports and submissions required by relevant authorities, auditors and business partners in the UAE.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting.
  • Liaise with colleagues, external accountants, auditors and international stakeholders.
  • Ensure financial documentation complies with internal procedures and relevant accounting requirements.
  • Support the wider finance and management teams with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
