Contract: Full-time, permanent

Target: £300,000 ARR per annum, across a prospect pool of up to 110 UK universities

The Role

StudyStash is looking for a Sales Executive to drive new business across the UK higher education sector, working closely with a partners field sales team. You'll lead remote presales demos, qualify and progress opportunities, and act as the product and commercial expert supporting our partner introduce StudyStash into their existing university accounts. This is a target-carrying role focused on generating and progressing pipeline across up to 110 university prospects, converting interest into committed ARR.

What You Will Do

  • Own and deliver an annual new business target of £300,000 ARR across a defined pool of up to 110 UK university prospects
  • Lead remote presales demos and discovery calls with prospective university customers, tailoring the pitch to different stakeholder groups (academic, digital learning, procurement, IT)
  • Act as the primary point of contact supporting partner sales reps as they introduce StudyStash into their existing accounts, providing product expertise, demo support, and deal coaching
  • Qualify inbound and partner-sourced leads, and proactively build outbound pipeline across the prospect list
  • Manage the sales pipeline and opportunity data accurately in the CRM (Attio/Apollo), keeping stage, next steps, and forecast data up to date
  • Coordinate proposal and pricing development, working with the CSO on commercial terms for more complex or high-value opportunities
  • Build a strong understanding of the StudyStash product and competitive landscape to run compelling, evidence-based demos
  • Track and report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and progress to target on a regular cadence
  • Feed prospect and market intelligence back into marketing and product teams

  • Experience in an inside sales, business development, or presales role, ideally in SaaS or Edtech
  • A track record of carrying and hitting a sales or pipeline target
  • Confident and engaging presenter, comfortable running remote product demos to mixed audiences of academic, technical, and commercial stakeholders
  • Experience working alongside a channel partner or field sales team is a strong plus
  • Experience selling into or working with universities or the broader HE sector is an advantage, but not essential
  • Well organised and disciplined in pipeline and CRM management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate product/outcome data into a compelling commercial narrative
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a distributed set of prospects and partner reps
  • Based within commuting distance of Bristol and comfortable with a hybrid working pattern

What We Offer

  • Base salary £40k-£55k with OTE £65k-£80k
  • Commission structure based on ARR closed/attributed against target
  • Hybrid working (typically 2 days/week in the Bristol office
