Account Executive – Managed IT Services & Cyber Security
We are working with a technology and cyber security specialist to recruit an Account Executive focused on growing its managed services and security portfolio.
This is an opportunity for someone with experience selling managed IT services who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and converting opportunities into long-term customers.
You’ll take ownership of developing new business, growing existing accounts and building a sustainable pipeline of recurring revenue. Working closely with the Managed Services Director and technical specialists, you’ll receive support with customer discovery, solution design and proposals as you get established.

Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and developing new managed IT and cyber security opportunities.
- Building relationships with decision-makers and understanding their business challenges.
- Managing the sales process from initial engagement through to negotiation and contract signature.
- Developing existing customer accounts and referral partnerships.
- Representing the business at networking events and working with marketing on campaigns.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts.
You should have:
- Experience in managed services sales, with a consultative approach.
- Proven ability to generate and close new business.
- Strong communication, commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach to building and managing your own pipeline.
- Knowledge of cyber security services and experience selling recurring revenue contracts would be an advantage.

What’s on offer
