The Role

In this role, you will work closely with clients, insurers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, manage renewal and new business activity, prepare high-quality market documentation, and identify opportunities to develop business and enhance our offering. The successful candidate will be an organised and collaborative individual with strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

  • Provide relevant management information as required for effective decision-making.
  • Supervise and forecast renewal and new business activity to aid in effective planning and resource allocation.
  • Conduct research and collect feedback from the market to progress the development of new products and wordings.
  • Seek opportunities to grow the book of business and expand our market presence.
  • Create and review client documentation to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness to support the quoting process.
  • Collate and communicate clients' needs to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk.
  • Prepare and check market presentations to showcase our offerings.
  • Liaise with and advise clients, investigating and resolving queries to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with territory, tax, and legislation requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Respond to market and third-party queries as appropriate to maintain strong relationships.
  • Produce high-quality market documentation with appropriate authorisations.
  • Collaborate with support technicians and IBA as required to deliver high-level service.
  • Assist in the review of product wordings to ensure they meet the current requirements of clients and territories.
  • Assist in the creation of and checking Evidence of Cover and debit/credit notes for accuracy, ensuring all documentation is of the highest quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on the company systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Who we’re looking for

  • Customer focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong and effective communication skills to establish a connection with clients and all relevant parties.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to achieve targets with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications and software related to the role.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills to drive effective business outcomes.
  • Excellent ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Calm and resilient under pressure, maintaining a positive mentality.
  • Proactive and adaptable to change, embracing new opportunities for growth.
  • Someone who collaborates and is skilled at fostering long-term professional connections.
  • Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).
  • A level or equivalent (desirable).
  • Attainment of the LLMIT (the Lloyd's and London Market Introductory Test) where relevant.
  • Working towards or has attained ACII (although this is not critical).
