The Role & Impact

In this role, you will grow and develop commercial relationships with accountants and bookkeepers within an assigned territory. You will work alongside partners to create and execute strategies that digitise their practices, driving positive outcomes for their businesses while contributing to revenue and subscription growth.

Through consultative sales approaches, proactive outbound communication, and collaborative quarterly planning, you will help new and existing accounting partners adopt cloud technology. By leading educational workshops, attending events, and demonstrating the value of our platform, you will play a key part in empowering small businesses and expanding our partner network.

The Team & How They Connect

You will join a collaborative sales team that works closely with technical specialists and internal partner services to deliver complete workflow solutions. The team focuses on nurturing long-term relationships and building strong local communities through peer-to-peer networking and shared events. Together, the team shares insights and uses joint strategies to ensure partners thrive.

Initial Focus

Initially, the role will focus on:

  • Managing an allocated territory by categorising, prioritizing, and onboarding new accounting partners.
  • Generating qualified opportunities through quarterly planning, targeted outreach, and marketing campaigns.
  • Presenting workshops, running training sessions, and maintaining active touchpoints within Salesforce.
  • Partnering with technical experts to showcase end-to-end accounting workflow solutions to prospective partners.

This is a hybrid role, based in our Manchester office - three days in the office, and two days working from home.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in sales within a technology or SaaS environment, with a track record of building genuine rapport with partners.
  • Passion for establishing new relationships, alongside a consultative approach to understanding customer needs.
  • Practical familiarity with practice management tools, small business accounting software, or similar platforms.
  • A self-motivated approach to territory management, utilizing structured planning to achieve goals.
  • Comfortable leading presentations, presenting workshops, or facilitating networking events.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems like Salesforce to maintain clear account details and manage pipelines.
