About the Role
We're looking for a customer-focused Account Executive to support our network of Brokers and direct business customers. Acting as a key point of contact, you'll help deliver a market-leading customer experience by resolving queries, managing customer relationships, and supporting business growth.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real impact on customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Brokers and business customers.
- Manage a portfolio of allocated customer accounts.
- Handle customer queries relating to billing, payments, consumption, refunds, and wholesaler interactions.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
- Support debt management activities and help ensure timely payment collection.
- Provide regular updates to customers and Brokers on outstanding issues.
- Assist with retaining existing business and identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
- Support sales and marketing activities, including events and customer engagement initiatives.
- Provide cover for the Account Manager and Sales Manager when required.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous customer service or account management experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a willingness to learn.
- Experience working in utilities/water industry.
