Account Executive – SaaS / CRM & MarTech

Abingdon | Hybrid – ideally 2 days per week in the office

£50,000 - £58,000 basic
Opportunity to DOUBLE salary with commission

Are you an experienced B2B SaaS Account Executive who enjoys winning new business, working with senior stakeholders and selling solutions that genuinely solve business problems?

We’re working with an established and growing CRM & MarTech solutions provider that is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join the team.

This is a consultative sales role combining software, licenses, professional services and consultancy, working with organisations across a broad range of sectors. The business has an excellent reputation in the market and benefits from a strong flow of inbound enquiries, referrals and marketing-generated opportunities, alongside dedicated SDR support.

The Role

As an Account Executive, you will take ownership of opportunities from initial engagement through to close, developing relationships with senior decision-makers and understanding how technology can improve their sales, marketing and customer processes.

You’ll work with a diverse customer base, with particularly strong growth across education, manufacturing and logistics, as well as a wide range of commercial sectors. You will engage with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and IT, typically at Director and senior management level.

This is predominantly a new business role, but you won't be expected to build your pipeline from scratch. You’ll have a strong support structure including SDRs, marketing campaigns, referrals and a significant volume of inbound opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and IT stakeholders.
  • Understand customers' business challenges and develop consultative, solution-led propositions.
  • Sell a combination of software, licenses, services and consultancy.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Produce compelling proposals and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, technical teams and delivery specialists to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.

  • A strong track record of winning new business and managing the full sales cycle.
  • Experience selling to senior decision-makers, ideally across Sales, Marketing and/or IT.

  • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong market proposition, where you'll have access to a high-quality pipeline rather than being reliant entirely on cold prospecting.

Around 25% of opportunities are self-generated, with the remainder supported through inbound enquiries, marketing activity, referrals and SDR-generated opportunities.

Deal values are typically £20k–£100k, with professional services opportunities generally around £15k–£20k. Larger enterprise opportunities can reach several hundred thousand pounds and potentially into the millions, providing significant scope for an ambitious salesperson to grow their earnings and career.

Location

The role is based from the company's Abingdon office, with an expectation of ideally two days per week in the office (Wednesday and Thursday). Candidates living within approximately an hour's commute of Abingdon are likely to be best suited to the hybrid working arrangement.

If you're an ambitious SaaS Account Executive looking for a consultative sales role with excellent lead generation, strong SDR support and the opportunity to work on significant enterprise deals, we'd love to hear from you.
