I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Win referred deals: close opportunities from PE and consulting partners. Matt will show you how these are won.
- Build your own pipeline: self-source and run outbound from scratch, supported by a marketing push over the next three months.
- Own the full sales cycle: discovery, deep dives, tailored multi-stakeholder demos you run yourself, business cases with CROs and decision makers, then procurement and contract. Deals average around £48k with a ~90-day cycle.
- Shape the playbook: take the early playbook, iterate on it and make it your own.
- Choose your tools: the team uses Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce, and is trialling Close as a replacement. With no long-term contracts in place, you'll have a say in your stack.
Experienced Required
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrable track record of carrying and delivering against a revenue target.
- Strong new business mentality and experience owning a full sales cycle.
- Experience working within an early-stage or similarly entrepreneurial business.
- Proven experience managing consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Background selling SaaS, technology, professional services, consultancy or agency solutions.
- Experience selling into sales teams or revenue organisations would be advantageous.
- Highly self-sufficient, resilient and commercially minded.
- A genuine interest in AI, sales technology and the future of revenue enablement.
