Hitachi Vantara helps enterprise customers unlock the value of their data and modernise the infrastructure behind critical business outcomes.
We are seeking a new business Account Executive to continue our H1 success in the UK.
In this new logo acquisition role you will develop strategic customer relationships, create high-quality pipeline and convert new opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Importantly, accounts you open - you keep.

What you’ll do
- Identify, qualify and prioritise strategic new business prospects across a defined account set.
- Create and progress pipeline through targeted prospecting, executive engagement, partner collaboration and insight-led customer conversations.
- Build trusted relationships with senior IT, data, infrastructure, procurement and business stakeholders.
- Lead the full sales cycle from qualification through solution development, negotiation and close.
- Position Hitachi Vantara’s Digital Infrastructure portfolio, including storage, hybrid cloud, consumption-based services and AI-ready infrastructure, around customer business priorities.
- Orchestrate internal specialist teams and partners to deliver differentiated, business-outcome-led solutions.
- Maintain strong forecasting, opportunity management and CRM discipline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
