Enterprise Account Executive – UK & Ireland

Enterprise Technology - Managed Services - Integration - ITSM

I’m supporting a fast-growing European technology company that is expanding its UK commercial team and looking to hire two experienced Enterprise Account Executives.

The business provides a cloud-native integration solution delivered as a managed service, helping large enterprises and IT service providers connect complex technology ecosystems while reducing the internal burden of building, operating, and maintaining integrations.

This is a senior, new-business-focused position for someone who knows how to create their own pipeline, navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, and ultimately close significant new-logo business.

The Opportunity

You will own the complete sales cycle across the UK & Ireland, from identifying and prospecting into target organizations through discovery, solution development, stakeholder management, negotiation, and close.

Rather than hiring generalist enterprise sellers, the business is particularly interested in people who have developed genuine expertise and relationships within a specific industry vertical.

Key verticals include:

  • IT Service Providers / Managed Service Providers
  • Financial Services & Insurance
  • Retail & Consumer
  • Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences
  • Transport & Utilities

You’ll ideally bring 5+ years of sales experience within one of these markets, combined with a strong overall background in enterprise technology sales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

We’re interested in senior enterprise sales professionals who have sold solutions such as:

  • Managed IT Services / IT Outsourcing
  • Integration or Automation platforms
  • IT Service Management / ITSM
  • Enterprise integration services
  • Service Integration / SIAM
  • Other complex enterprise technology or managed service solutions

You should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of net-new business generation, rather than relying predominantly on existing accounts or inbound opportunities.

We’ll want to understand what you have personally sold, the customers and verticals you've sold into, how you create pipeline, the size and complexity of deals you've closed, and how you progress an opportunity from initial engagement through to signed business.

The Person

The company places significant importance on how you sell, not simply what you've sold.

You'll need to be an effective and concise communicator who can engage senior stakeholders without overcomplicating the conversation. You should be comfortable asking challenging questions, listening to the customer, and using facts and insight to understand the real commercial or operational problem.

The approach is firmly customer-first and value-led: understand the customer's environment and challenges first, then work backwards to determine whether the solution genuinely provides value.

You'll also be expected to:

  • Take ownership of the entire sales process and its outcome
  • Generate and develop your own enterprise pipeline
  • Communicate effectively with C-level and technical stakeholders
  • Multi-thread complex enterprise opportunities
  • Ask intelligent, in-depth discovery questions
  • Challenge assumptions and apply critical thinking
  • Work collaboratively with technical and internal teams
  • Maintain momentum and stakeholder engagement throughout longer sales cycles
  • Remain commercially focused on delivering measurable results

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join an established but still highly entrepreneurial European technology company at an important stage of its UK growth.

You'll have the autonomy of a smaller organization while selling a solution already proven with major enterprise and IT service customers.

The company is investing in its UK operation, and successful hires will have significant scope to influence its growth within their chosen vertical.

If you're an experienced enterprise hunter who knows your market, understands how to create opportunities rather than wait for them, and enjoys genuinely consultative selling, I'd be interested in speaking with you.

Please apply directly or contact me confidentially for further information.
