Account Executive – Technology Services
Account Management | Customer Success | Renewals | Upselling & Cross-Selling
An established and growing technology services organisation is looking for an Account Executive to join its commercial team, taking responsibility for a portfolio of existing customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships while also having the commercial drive to grow accounts through renewals, upselling and cross-selling.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, developing a strong understanding of their businesses and identifying where additional technology products and services can add value.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT Managers, CIOs and senior decision-makers
- Driving customer retention and long-term account growth
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
- Managing contract renewals and supporting commercial negotiations
- Holding regular customer meetings and providing clear updates around services, deliverables and actions
- Proactively identifying and resolving customer issues before they escalate
- Working closely with technical, pre-sales and wider commercial teams to develop customer solutions
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, opportunities, forecasts and account plans

What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is commercially driven but takes a relationship-first approach to account management.

You will ideally bring:
- Previous Account Executive, Account Management or Customer Success experience
- Experience working within technology, IT services, managed services or a similar environment
- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting renewals, upselling and cross-selling
- Confidence communicating with both technical and senior business stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach
- The ability to take ownership of customer relationships and deliver against revenue targets
