About the role

As an Account Executive, you'll support the management and growth of a portfolio of corporate customer accounts, helping to ensure outstanding service delivery while identifying opportunities to add value.

Working closely with customers and internal teams, you'll play a key role in coordinating activity, monitoring performance, supporting commercial objectives, and helping customers achieve their sustainability goals.

No two days are the same. From managing customer queries and preparing performance reports to supporting contract renewals and identifying improvement opportunities, you'll be at the heart of delivering a first-class customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Account Director with the management of a portfolio of corporate customer accounts
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and requests
  • Coordinating with operational, commercial, finance, and sustainability teams
  • Monitoring contract performance, KPIs, and service metrics, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Preparing insights and reports for customer review meetings
  • Supporting contract renewals and commercial activity
  • Identifying potential service improvements and sustainability initiatives within customer accounts
  • Assisting in identifying cross selling and upselling opportunities
  • Monitoring industry and customer sector developments and share relevant insights with the Account Director
  • Completing site visits to understand service delivery, waste solutions, and value for money

What we need from you

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering great service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be:

  • Strong organisational and administrative capability with high attention to detail
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and willingness to develop financial understanding
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
  • Proactive, solution focused approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, cross functional environment
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong customer focus with a “right first time” approach to service delivery

Experience we'd love to see:

  • Experience in an Account Executive, Account Coordinator, Customer Success, or similar client-facing role
  • Exposure to a B2B environment (waste management, environmental services, facilities management, or similar preferred)
  • Experience supporting customer accounts, contracts, or service delivery
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • An interest in sustainability, environmental services, or ESG initiatives
