Overview We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Account Executive to join a growing sales organization within the global telecommunications and technology space.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales professional with experience in telecommunications, technology, connectivity, high-tech, or B2B sales who enjoys identifying new opportunities and building relationships with prospective customers.
This role is focused on new business development and new logo acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, hunter-oriented mindset and enjoy prospecting, building a pipeline, and closing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
- Focus on new logo acquisition and expanding the organization's customer base.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and outbound activity.
- Develop relationships with prospective customers and understand their business and technical needs.
- Present and position IP connectivity, network, and technology solutions to prospective clients.
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle and work toward achieving assigned sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts within Salesforce.com.
- Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to support customer opportunities.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs.
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and other business development activities as needed.
- Travel locally and occasionally internationally for customer meetings and conferences.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications sales, high-tech sales, B2B sales, or another relevant customer-facing commercial role.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in prospecting, new business development, and customer acquisition.
- Experience selling or working within telecommunications, networking, connectivity, technology, or related solutions is preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong interest in achieving sales goals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM platform is preferred.
- Comfortable communicating with business leaders and senior-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
