About the Role
As an Account Executive at AMCS, you will be responsible for driving expansion and growth within our existing customer base by helping organizations solve complex operational and sustainability challenges through our SaaS solutions.
You will own the full sales cycle for conversion, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities, from discovery and qualification through to close, while building trusted relationships with key stakeholders across your assigned territory.
This role requires a consultative seller who can uncover customer needs, identify opportunities for additional value, align AMCS solutions to business outcomes, and confidently engage both technical and non-technical audiences in virtual and in-person settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Customer Expansion
- Own growth across your assigned customer base, with a focus on conversions, cross-sell, upsell, and account expansion opportunities.
- Territory & Pipeline Management
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to build and maintain a high-quality expansion pipeline that meets and exceeds quota.
- Full-Cycle Sales Execution
- Lead opportunities from pipeline development through close, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and deal execution.
- Customer Engagement
- Conduct consultative engagements via phone, video, and in-person meetings to understand customer goals, business challenges, and opportunities for additional value.
- Account Growth Strategy
- Build strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities to expand AMCS’ footprint across teams, business units, and use cases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and other internal teams to drive demand, deliver impactful demos, and align solutions to customer needs.
- Solution Alignment
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for a range of stakeholders, from operational users to executive decision-makers.
- Sales Operations & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking within Salesforce.
- Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to team best practices and support broader sales initiatives as needed.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of quota-carrying experience selling complex, mid-market SaaS solutions, such as ERP or platform-based systems, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven success managing full sales cycles and closing expansion, upsell, cross-sell, or account growth opportunities.
- Experience selling into existing customer accounts and building trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills, including the ability to uncover new opportunities within an existing account base.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling way to diverse audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
