Account Executive

We're looking for a creative, intelligent, and articulate team player to join us as an Account Executive. A passion for current affairs, media, and creating impact-driven projects is essential, as well as a keen understanding of local politics and public policy.
Role Responsibilities
- Proactively support the Account Manager, contributing ideas and anticipating next steps to drive accounts forward.
- Maintain a solid understanding of communication objectives, strategies, and evolving industry tactics to stay ahead of client needs.
- Manage all account administration, ensuring timely delivery of contact and status reports within 24 hours of meetings.
- Monitor and report on daily media coverage, keeping a pulse on the media environment and business landscape.
- Own and update monthly activity planners, proposing new ideas and opportunities for clients.
- Track stakeholder sentiment through various channels, including media, social networks, and direct stakeholder interactions.
- Research and draft communications materials (press releases, newsletters, etc.) under supervision.
- Handle client requests, including managing community hotlines for projects, ensuring all enquiries are addressed promptly.
- Effectively use media databases to compile media lists, manage forward features, and maximise client exposure.
- Assist in selling and negotiating media opportunities, meeting journalists, and evaluating coverage with the Account Manager.
- Ensure disciplined use of Camargue's management systems (timesheets, expenses), managing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, providing insights and attending meetings to offer constructive feedback. Stay informed about government structures, local politics, and policy developments relevant to our sectors.
- Coordinate the production of campaign materials, ensuring smooth workflow through the design and approval process.
- Support the logistical arrangements for events, exhibitions, and briefings, highlighting any risks or opportunities to the Account Manager.
