Business Development Manager – Edinburgh 🍽️
Hospitality Tech | Remote-first | £42k–£45k base + £24k uncapped commission + £5k annual bonus
Scotland has become one of this business’s strongest growth markets, with a huge amount of its recent customer acquisition coming from the region...Now, they’re investing properly.
The Scottish sales team currently sits at two people, with plans to grow to five giving them more people on the ground, meeting operators, demoing the platform and building a genuine presence across the market.
For this hire, we need someone who can hit the ground running. Someone who already understands hospitality, knows how to speak with operators and can confidently walk into a restaurant, bar or venue and have a credible commercial conversation from day one.
If you’ve worked in hospitality before or already have a strong network across Edinburgh, that’s a huge advantage.
You’ll understand the real pain points operators face every day:
- Managing staff and stock
- Keeping costs under control
- Dealing with disconnected systems
- Improving service without increasing admin
- Protecting already-tight margins
You won’t just be selling software. You’ll be showing operators that you understand their world and introducing them to a platform that can genuinely make running their business easier.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
