Salary £60K - £70K plus commission - 1-2 days in Oxford HQ per week
Are you an ambitious Account Executive who enjoys complex SaaS sales, developing major accounts and uncovering opportunities that other salespeople might miss?
We have been exclusively retained by an established Oxford-based software and services business, employing around 80 people and generating £7m+ in annual revenues, whose technology is trusted by major organisations operating in highly regulated environments. With almost three decades of expertise in data, regulatory reporting and enterprise technology, continued growth and regulatory change are creating significant new opportunities across the UK and international markets. They are now looking for an Account Executive to combine new-logo acquisition with strategic account development, joining a successful sales team that is already performing strongly against target.
This is a genuinely consultative sales role, with approximately half your focus on winning new customers and half on developing existing accounts where considerable white-space opportunity remains. You will sell complex software and associated services into major financial services organisations, multinational businesses, government bodies and regulators, working opportunities that can range from £50k to £250k initially and develop into substantial long-term recurring revenue relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will research and penetrate target accounts, engage multiple stakeholders and senior decision-makers, identify how changing regulation and business requirements create new challenges, and use relevant solutions, customer stories and use cases to build compelling commercial propositions. Supported by experienced pre-sales, product and delivery specialists, you will manage sophisticated sales cycles from opportunity creation and discovery through presentations, proposals, negotiation and close, while also growing established customer relationships through cross-sell and upsell.
We are looking for a commercially curious Account Executive with experience selling complex B2B SaaS, enterprise software, data, technology or software-enabled solutions, ideally involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles. You should be comfortable engaging senior decision-makers, developing major accounts as well as winning new logos, and capable of looking beyond the immediate opportunity to understand an organisation, its challenges and where further value could be created.
Experience within regulatory technology, financial services, data, AI, compliance or another regulated market would be advantageous rather than essential, with curiosity, digital confidence and the ability to quickly understand sophisticated technology being equally important. Above all, you will be proactive, commercially intelligent and organised, with the autonomy to build your own pipeline while collaborating effectively with technical colleagues to turn complex customer requirements into successful commercial outcomes.

The role is hybrid and requires regular attendance at the Oxford office during your initial onboarding and development, typically around two days per week, with greater flexibility available once established, and the office offers on-site parking and is approximately a 10-minute walk from the railway station.
