Account Executive
£35,000 + Bonus
London (2 days per week in office)

We're proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading FMCG business on a key hire within its Commercial division. With a strong portfolio of well-known drinks brands across retail, foodservice, hospitality, and wholesale, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and established business.

This is a highly developmental commercial role, supporting the National Team across the Grocery and wholesale customer portfolio.

If you're commercially curious, organised, confident, and looking to build your commercial experience with a view to progressing into National Account Executive, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Support the wider Grocery and Wholesale sales team across day-to-day commercial administration.
  • Supporting forecasting, spend tracking, promotional administration, new line forms, SKU changes, and reporting.
  • Managing customer communications, including regular reports, category updates, and buyer support packs.
  • Attending trade exhibitions and developing confidence in representing the product portfolio to customers.
  • Gradually gaining exposure to customer meetings, store visits, account accompaniments, and product development.
  • Providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.
  • Supporting the wider team when required and taking ownership of agreed tasks and projects.
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent day-to-day customer service.

About You:

We’re open to a range of backgrounds. You could be a bright graduate looking for your first FMCG commercial opportunity, or someone with previous experience in sales administration, customer service, account support or FMCG who is ready to take the next step.

You’ll ideally be:

  • Commercially curious, proactive and keen to develop a career in sales or account management.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines.
  • A quick learner who can work at pace in a busy commercial environment.
  • Confident, personable and articulate when communicating with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong with Excel, Microsoft Office, numbers and data.
  • Keen, enthusiastic, resilient and commercially ambitious.
  • Previous Grocery, FMCG, food, drink, wholesale or foodservice experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Retailer portal experience would be advantageous, but we’re equally happy to consider a strong graduate without this experience.
