Handshaik turns entire markets into live, prioritised pipelines.
Role details:
- UK-based (flexible working options)
- Full-time
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + equity
- Significant opportunity to progress as the commercial team grows
About us
Backed by £1.7m in pre-seed funding, Handshaik has grown to a team of nine across London and Leeds, and we’re now scaling our Growth team.
Handshaik’s AI-native platform that helps businesses find and win more opportunities.
We bring company discovery, market intelligence, contacts, signals and workflow into one platform, helping teams understand which companies to target, why they matter, who to speak to and when to act.
What our platform actually does:
- Analyses millions of companies at scale, across thousands of datapoints
- Scores every UK company against your ideal target criteria (from what the business does to financial performance, ownership and much more)
- Explains why each result is or isn't a fit
- Identifies your champion of choice, not just shareholders and directors
- Enriches via 20+ premium global contact databases, retrieving emails, phones and professional history
- Connects your team around a shared targeting workflow, so everyone can collaborate on the same opportunities
- Tracks daily changes so you never miss an update
We work with customers across Financial Services and broader B2B growth teams.
We're now looking for an experienced salesperson to help drive that next stage of growth.
The role
We're looking for a commercially sharp, hands-on Account Executive who can create opportunities, run great sales conversations and close business.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a full diary and simply work inbound leads.
You'll own deals from start to finish: building pipeline, speaking to prospects, understanding their workflows, demonstrating Handshaik against real use cases, navigating multiple stakeholders and getting contracts signed.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Because we're still an early-stage company, you'll also play an important role in shaping how we sell.
That means testing messaging, improving the sales process, identifying new markets and feeding what you're hearing from customers directly back into the product.
We're looking for someone who enjoys that level of ownership.
What you'll be doing
- Owning opportunities from initial conversation through to close
- Creating your own pipeline alongside opportunities generated by the wider Growth team
- Running discovery calls that get underneath how prospects currently work
- Delivering compelling, use-case-led product demos
- Showing prospects how Handshaik can solve real problems using their own markets, targets and workflows
- Building relationships with champions, decision-makers and other stakeholders
- Managing commercial conversations, proposals, pilots and negotiations
- Maintaining momentum across deals and driving clear next steps
- Developing outbound strategies for priority accounts and markets
- Using Handshaik and other modern GTM tools to identify and prioritise opportunities
- Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Working closely with product to share customer feedback and market insight
- Helping improve our messaging, sales process and go-to-market playbook as we scale
What we're looking for
- Proven experience selling B2B software, data or technology
- Experience owning a sales cycle and closing new business
- A track record of creating pipeline rather than relying entirely on inbound leads
- Confident running discovery calls and product demonstrations
- Strong commercial judgement and an ability to understand how different businesses operate
- Comfortable selling a product that can solve several different use cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience navigating multiple stakeholders within a deal
- Familiarity with modern GTM tools — CRM, prospecting, enrichment, sequencing and sales intelligence platforms
- Comfortable working with AI-native tools and experimenting with new ways of selling
- High levels of ownership and a bias towards action
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup where the playbook is still being written
