French-Speaking Account Executive – Financial Services

Location: Central London – Hybrid, 2–3 days per week

Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + OTE

Territory: French-speaking EMEA / Europe

Travel: European travel required

The Opportunity

A growing international technology business is looking for an experienced French-speaking Account Executive / Account Manager to take ownership of a significant existing Financial Services customer whilst also developing new business across French-speaking European markets.

This is a commercially focused position combining strategic account management with new business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for building senior customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and developing new opportunities across their territory.

The business provides technology and data solutions used by major organisations internationally and is continuing to expand its presence across Europe.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of a significant existing Financial Services account
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Identify renewal, upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop strategic account plans around customer objectives and challenges
  • Prospect, qualify and develop new business opportunities across French-speaking markets
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of potential customers
  • Manage longer, consultative sales cycles with deal values typically ranging from £20k–£250k
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting and commercial KPIs through CRM
  • Collaborate with Product, Delivery and Customer Success teams
  • Represent the business at relevant industry events and conferences
  • Develop relationships with customers and strategic technology partners
  • Travel across Europe for customer meetings and industry events

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent French and English – essential
  • Strong Account Management / Key Account Management experience
  • Ideally 5+ years' experience within Financial Services
  • Demonstrable experience owning and developing significant customer accounts
  • Strong relationship-building and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and win new business
  • Experience with account growth, renewals, upselling and cross-selling
  • Comfortable managing complex and longer-term B2B sales cycles
  • Highly organised, structured and proactive
  • Comfortable travelling internationally when required
  • Able to work from the Central London office approximately 2–3 days per week

Previous experience selling technology, API, data or SaaS solutions into Financial Services would be advantageous.

Package & Working Environment

  • £55,000–£60,000 base salary
  • Commission based on account growth and new-business performance
  • Hybrid working – typically 2–3 days per week in Central London
  • International travel across the territory
  • Regular company offsites
  • Opportunity to take significant ownership within a growing international business
