About the role

  • Take the business from founder-led sales to a scalable, repeatable commercial model.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proof of concept, negotiation and close.
  • Personally generate pipeline through outbound activity, existing relationships, inbound opportunities and marketing-generated demand.
  • Help define the ICP, messaging, targeting and wider commercial playbook.
  • Translate sophisticated AI capabilities into clear commercial outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sell to growing businesses and global enterprises, engaging departmental leaders and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Work alongside the founders, SDR, marketing and customer success teams.
  • Influence how the company approaches new markets as the commercial function develops.

Your previous experience

  • A strong track record of winning new business and delivering against an individual revenue target.
  • Experience selling technically complex SaaS to business stakeholders.
  • Evidence of building or improving a sales motion within an early-stage SaaS company.
  • Strong outbound and self-generation capability.
  • A clear understanding of your previous quota, average deal size, sales cycle and personal performance.
  • Comfortable creating opportunities without relying on an established brand or mature inbound engine.
  • Able to simplify complex technology and communicate its commercial value.
  • Proactive, curious, resilient and comfortable operating with autonomy.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to build, sell and influence how a company goes to market.

Package

  • to £75,000 plus double OTE
  • Leeds-based hybrid role, typically 3–4 days per week in the office.
  • Benefits including private health, income protection, life insurance and pension
  • Potential to take ownership of an industry vertical or geographic market as the company grows.
