Alto Software Group

Alto Software Group is a B2B SaaS company that powers more than half of all UK housing transactions each year. We create software solutions that connect businesses and consumers, delivering a one-stop shop for estate agents and home builders. Our goal is to drive efficiency, speed up transactions, reduce risk, and improve the end-customer experience. While we're not a start-up, we have a start-up mindset and want our people to operate with this mindset so that we can achieve our ambitions.

The Role

We are looking for a Tier 1 Account Executive to drive growth across our £1,000–£5,000 value account base within New Business Sales. As Alto's New Business team scales into a market with real momentum, this segment is increasingly where the next chapter of that growth story gets written. This is a full-cycle, outbound-first sales role: you will own the entire journey from prospecting through to close, with genuine autonomy over how you build and run your pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 accounts (£1,000–£5,000), spotting and acting on the opportunities that drive real growth.
  • Build outbound pipeline within the Tier 1 segment, generating your own opportunities rather than relying on inbound flow.
  • Run a structured, consultative sales process that takes qualified leads from first conversation through to close.
  • Manage a healthy, accurately forecasted funnel, keeping visibility and progression tight at every stage.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, balancing the value you deliver to clients with the outcomes the business needs.
  • Keep your CRM records sharp — notes, next steps, and opportunity status always current — so your pipeline tells the true story.
  • Get under the skin of client needs and market positioning, tailoring your proposition and creating genuine urgency.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Development, and Customer Success to maximise growth across your accounts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Proven experience in a full-cycle sales or account executive role, ideally within a target-driven B2B environment.
  • A track record of generating your own outbound pipeline and converting it into revenue.
  • Strong negotiation skills — you're comfortable controlling a deal rather than being led by the prospect.
  • Excellent funnel and pipeline management discipline, with strong CRM hygiene.
  • A consultative approach: you ask the right questions, uncover what actually matters to the client, and demonstrate clear value.
  • Resilience and drive, with a genuine motivation to hit and exceed growth targets.

There's always room to grow and learn with our roles — please don't be put off if you don't have all of these. It's more important that you're passionate about improving the home moving and owning experience for everyone.

Why Join Alto?

This role gives you real ownership over a growth segment with clear headroom — how you build your pipeline and run your deals is up to you. You'll work alongside Marketing, Sales Development, and Customer Success teams who are genuinely invested in your success, with visibility into your results from day one. Alto's New Business team is growing, and there's a clear path from Tier 1 into bigger territory as you prove yourself.
