Role Overview

The Account Executive supports the execution of PR strategies, ensuring seamless press, sample and client support. Working closely with Account Managers and Account Directors, this role is essential in securing media coverage, managing sample logistics, coordinating events, and nurturing relationships with press, influencers, and talent. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach.

  • Secure brand news stories (where applicable and with Managers support), shopping credits, and image placements across key print, digital, and social media outlets.
  • Maintain and grow press relationships, booking meetings with press and stylists to showcase client launches and identify opportunities.
  • Support the team in developing media pitches, ensuring alignment with client storytelling and seasonal PR strategies.
  • Assist in compiling and distributing press releases, lookbooks, and media alerts to key press contacts.

Sample & Showroom Management

  • Lead and facilitate all sample requests (with Manager guidance), ensuring an organised and efficient tracking system.
  • Must be proficient in Launchmetrics.
  • Oversee sample room upkeep, ensuring a clean, tidy and organised space.
  • Maintain the Launchmetrics sample tracking system, ensuring all press loans are properly logged and returned.
  • Resolve any logistics issues related to sample shipments, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure all client collections/samples are booked into Launchmetrics and barcoded immediately upon arrival.

VIP & Influencer Relations

  • Liaise with stylists, influencers, talent, and agents to facilitate VIP dressing and brand placements.
  • Identify emerging talent and propose potential gifting or collaboration opportunities.
  • Support on strategic VIP and influencer gifting initiatives, ensuring thoughtful and impactful brand placement.

Event Support & Gifting

  • Assist in the planning and execution of client events, brand activations, and Fashion Week activities.
  • Support the team in securing press attendance, influencer engagement, and event coverage.
  • Contribute creative ideas for VIP dressing, digital activations, and gifting strategies.
  • Oversee the guest list process and event logistics, ensuring smooth execution.

Reporting & Social Media

  • Oversee the collation of daily, weekly and monthly press coverage reports, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Assist placement students to clip coverage where needed, particularly during busy periods.
  • File all media coverage/clippings in the applicable brand folders on the DH—PR Google Drive.
  • Ensure client launch dates and assets are shared for social media and PR tracking.
  • Support content planning for the company’s Instagram, ensuring client milestones are reflected in agency communications.
  • Ensure post-event press reporting and coverage tracking, flagging key highlights and areas for improvement.
  • Draft all client call agendas in preparation for Manager sign off ahead of sharing.
  • Take minutes during calls and finalise meeting notes post-call for Manager sign off.

Team & Operations Support

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and managing placement students, ensuring they are effectively supported and developed.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure best practices in press outreach, sample room and logistics management, and event coordination.
  • To proactively propose content to be included on the DH—PR Instagram and TikTok account, updating on client news and gathering updates from the team to create social posts.

About You

  • Minimum 2+ years’ agency experience in PR, communications, or fashion media.
  • Established relationships with key mid- level journalists, stylists, influencers, and talent agents.
  • Strong understanding of press, influencer, and talent relations within fashion, lifestyle, or beauty.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in building media relationships.
  • Ability to manage high-volume sample requests and logistics with precision.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, maintaining calmness and flexibility under pressure.
  • A team player who works collaboratively and acts with integrity and kindness at all times.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling client and agency information.
